Riding Instruction For All Ages and Ability Levels

Painted Valley Farms offers a variety of riding lesson options to fit into today's busy lifestyles. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, our lesson programs are designed around the principles of dressage to build solid skills that work at every riding level. Using a combination of arena work, exercises and games, our students develop the fundamentals of horsemanship that will help them progress safely and successfully as riders in numerous disciplines.

Lessons are conducted in an English saddle until the basics have been well established. The student may then select to specialize in a particular discipline, such as English, Western or Hunter Pleasure, Dressage, Jumping, Saddle Seat, Sport Horse Under Saddle,  or In Hand. We emphasize safety and control in all aspects of riding, with a focus on understanding the relationship between horse and rider.

We want our clients to enjoy the time they spend with horses, and we offer a range of activities and lesson types to meet your needs.

• Lesson options include basic riding skills, advanced equitation, dressage, and beginning jumping,

• Clients can choose to take their lessons on one of our exceptional lesson horses, or on their own horses.

• Group lessons, private and semi-private lessons are available weekly, during the day and in the evening.
